Mar 02, 2019This is a solid issue. It's a fun and enjoyable read with good art. I liked the ending quite a bit but the issue as a whole didn't grab me a whole lot. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Feb 27, 2019Batgirls shaken at issues end. Scott has put her through some really intense action over the course of the issue and theres a definite tension leading to the upcoming chapters. (The next one comes in the form of a crossover tie-in to The Batman Who Laughs miniseries.) This issue works remarkably well on its own, though. Scott has been doing a good job of delivering individual issues that feel self-contained while building ongoing tension in a larger story arc. Read Full Review

Feb 27, 2019Batgirl almost saves the day! If you knew how close she came, you'd be very proud. Why not pick up the issue and check it out? Comics could certainly come a lot worse than this one--and they do! Read Full Review

Feb 28, 2019A solid second arc of this creative teams Batgirl series. It is a decent political thriller with an uncompelling villain but looks to be just the start of a larger story. Read Full Review

Comic Book Bin - Philip Schweier
Feb 27, 2019Unfortunately, the story is to be continued, but that includes a detour into another DC title. At least it's still part of the Bat-franchise, but not one of the better known books. It's a shame if it's only a ploy to juice the readership of that particular title, because it's hardly a sustainable strategy. Read Full Review

Batman-News - Daniel Cheeseman
Feb 27, 2019This story went downhill with each issue. After reading issue #32, the best thing I can say about this series is that Tom King hasn't wandered in and killed/shot/mercilessly deconstructed anyone. This 'finale' fails to tie up loose ends and doesn't feel like a triumph for the hero. Really, it's the midpoint of a larger story; 'Old Enemies' was created in service to a later (less skippable) arc, which leaves me feeling cheated. Read Full Review

Feb 27, 2019Pelletier does what he can with the art. There is a little bit of excitement in the fight scene but not enough to really make an impact. The story though is just a dull one. Mercifully, it's the last one in this particular storyline. Hopefully it's much better next issue. It certainly can't get much worse than this. Read Full Review
