  This is quickly becoming one of my favourite comics to read.Amethyst #2 really had it all. Mystery, intrigue, great fight scenes, memory recalling and even some friendship.   Credit where it is due that this is a book which knows how to deliver. So far this has been an adventure full of emotion, discovery, and even a bit of fun along the way. Certainly an experience you are going to get anywhere else in the DC Universe. Amethyst #2 was satisfying for everything we had to look forward to from it, and how it all further added to the investment we have in the stakes which have now been raised. Read Full Review

  I had fun with the first issue of Amethyst, but not so much this one.  I still love Amy Reeder's art, but the story felt like we jumped issues ahead and then forced our way forward again.  The main narrative is simple enough, but the scenes telling it don't get enough time to breathe and end up not hitting as much as they should.  I hope the next issue (whenever that will be?!?) gets back to the good stuff we got from the opening issue.
