Its difficult to know where The Last Boy is going from this first issue. Wendys real world story is on a collision course with Peters story in Neverland. Its very unclear how the different tones of angst surrounding Wesley, and humor and sad tragedy surrounding Peter will blend together. For now, The Last Boy #1 rests on an interesting premise, both amusing and full of potential even if its not a must buy. Read Full Review

As with Dan Panosian's previous work with his own take on Alice In Wonderland, The Last Boy's approach to Peter Pan will take time to see if this will be a home run. Finally got my hands on it and it didn't disappoint. What a great and magical first read, full of nostalgia. This series takes you back 15 years, but things have changed. Changed like, everyone grew up or old but not Peter. Its a really interesting take, just like marvel does with Daredevil, Avengers: Twilight,... I am a fan of Dan Panosians amazing art and now I know he can write as well. Looking forward to the next issue. Salute.

I am a huge Peter Pan fan. I'm even writing my new novel with an inclusion of the character. However, this does not feel like Peter in the least. The only character that feels like cannon is Wendy. I was under the impression that people inhabiting Neverland did not age and yet Captain Hook and the pirates are geriatric. I felt badly for Hook as Peter continued to bully him, though he had done nothing wrong. The designs are not very good and the art is mediocre at best. This was very disappointing.
