Killian finally manages to goad Murphy into a fight with a dramatically more war-capable opponent, but while the outcome of this fight may have to wait until the next issue, we are left with a far-more enticing cliffhanger in the reveal of Killian's past affiliation with the early days of OCP. This exploration of the grimy underbelly of business is what RoboCop has always done best, and Joshua Williamson has so far treated us to a faithful addition to the RoboCop canon which knows exactly which beats to hit. If you felt like the new RoboCop movie was watered down or you just want to return to the original movie's universe, you need to be reading this book. Everything I loved about the original movie is here. It takes a good look at corruption and how few dare to stand against it, RoboCop's an awesome lead, and it feels every bit as over-the-top and brutal as the first movie. It's simple: If you like Paul Verhoeven's movie, you're going to be very, very happy with BOOM! Studios' series. Read Full Review

Great action scenes, but least favorite one so far. Still good, but last 4 issues were much better. Still looking forward to issue 6 tho!

The art is great but the story is still fairly average. I know Joshua Williamson is capable of better, but he may be putting more effort into his other independent releases. I know why OCP took Murphy's gun away, but they're not doing a very good job of justifying their actions. RoboCop didn't really use his gun in a way that upset the public. At least it is an excuse to see how Murphy fairs with just a baton, that's all he needs baby!
