Dec 06, 2019Without going too much further, all I will say is " get Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1. It is a fantastic and great reward to long-time fans of both franchises. IDW and BOOM! are on a crossover roll and they aren't about to stop now. Shredder, Monsters, Foot Clan, what more could you want? Oh, how about Casey Jones and Lord Zedd?? That would be absolutely epic. So who knows what is left in store for us on the rest of this story, all you need to know is the little kid, and the big kids that you are, you don't want to miss it. Read Full Review

Dec 04, 2019I'm not entirely sure where this idea came from, but I'm now entirely sold on it. Parrott's writing and Di Meo's art evoke the best shared elements of both universes and the resulting product is a fun jaunt that captures that one part of your brain that excitedly watched MMPR or TMNT every week, and I'm excited to experience the rest of the crossover. Dec 03, 2019This is the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meet-up you have been looking for. No, this one never happened. MMPR/TMNT #1 feels like more than just fan-service or banking on nostalgia for sales. Ryan Parrott starts off what seems to be a very interesting story for the two teams, while Simone di Meo, Walter Baiamonte and Igor Monti deliver some delightfully dynamic art. Read Full Review

Dec 06, 2019Both the Power Rangers and the Turtles are no strangers to comic crossovers, but the teams rarely cross paths with each other. Ryan Parrott's writing and the strong artwork by di Meo, Baiamonte, and Monti provide justification that these teams should do more together. Parrott has crafted a narrative that is accessible to any lapsed 80's or 90's fan but fills the story with enough details for readers of either franchise to latch onto and enjoy. Read Full Review
