Nov 06, 2019Buffy the Vampire Slayer #9 is a particularly strong episode in Boom! Studios hit-or-miss reboot of the Buffyverse. Its telling, though, and a little troubling, that both of the Buffyverse titles seem to hit their stride when their main characters are absent. Read Full Review

Nov 06, 2019By the end of this issue there was a huge twist they threw our way. Definitely one that was teased, but there was no way to prepare for how they would introduce this new character into the story. Nov 17, 2019"Hellmouth" comes to a grinding halt this issue, which chooses to focus on the morose tales of Giles, Willow, and Xander instead of actually advancing the story. Readers are going to find themselves frustrated on multiple levels, ending with a very strong sense of "Why should I care?" Read Full Review
