The Buffy the Vampire Slayer prelude for Hellmouth was a great set-up for how and why this event is called what it is. No time was wasted at all in bringing everything full circle between the mysterious circumstance of Joyce Summers' new museum exhibit, and the dreams both Buffy and Xander have had warning them of what might possibly come. Jenny quickly giving up the dagger may help save some initial bloodshed but likely won't help her relationship with the Watcher (or the rest of the world which she may have doomed). And what's up with Dru stabbing Spike? What does that mean for him, and for Sunnydale? Worth a look. Read Full Review

Overall, Bellaire's story and Angulo's colors are great but Lpez's art pulls me out of it. It's been a common complaint this arc, but the strength of the story keeps pulling me back, not to mention that Hill'sAngelseries is substantially different than Bellaire'sBuffyseries, so seeing them come together is something that I have been waiting for since it was announced. A solid issue. I'm almost certain the guy in the mask is Angel. We'll probably find out in his series' prelude issue.
