Shoplifters Will Be Liquidated comes to a screeching halt but what else did you expect?

Remnant covers some interesting ground but offers a vapid take on the issues it presents. The ending is both bleak and hopeful but the story as a whole lacks the depth to make it memorable much less haunting. I appreciate short-form storytelling but this book does not make a good case for it. At the same time, I don't think a longer page count would have helped a book where there's just not much of a story to tell.

After a long, long wait, I'm reminded why I bother with Transformers comics with a delightful, meaningful story.

It's getting a little complicated but the book is still enjoyable.

Things get better, things get worse, the usual for this Transformers' run.

While the book could use a bit more focus, Shoplifters Will Be Liquidated is otherwise right where it needs to be.

Some parts get better, some parts get worse but as a whole, Transformers Galaxies isn't nearly as promising as it first looked.

Transformers #14 doesn't quite right the sinking ship but it's a start.

Even the best books need to come to an end and Killer Groove stays true to itself all the way through.

Killer Groove's mesmerizing Los Angeles narrative is by far one of the best comics to come out this year.

It's not quite where I want it to be but this new issue is a huge improvement over the rest of the series. Bringing Section Zero into the 21st century went better than I thought it would.

The book has a good story with some truly outstanding art. Killer Groove is off to a great start.

Despite some promising developments, it's more of the same for Cybertron and its inhabitants.

Transformers #7 quickly wastes the goodwill it built up over the last two issues.

The book still has its rough patches but it has already seen considerable improvement over the course of four issues.

Section Zero certainly isn't getting worse but it's still not showing any major signs of improvement.

As with most controversial events, people kept saying that readers should wait for the story to reach completion to pass judgment. But as in most cases, this ending didn't actually make a difference.

Like the previous issue, Transformers #6 is a departure from the rest of the series. Hopefully it stays where it is right now.

A faithful take on the classic board game that leaves you wanting more.

Section Zero #2 sets up a time travel plotline but the series still feels like it's a product of days past. And not in a good way.

Transformers #5 is finally picking up, both in terms of art and story.

While it's a step up for this series, I'm starting to lose faith in this reboot.

Transformers #3 isn't in a rush to get anywhere, in terms of both story and art.

The art of Heroes in Crisis #8 is superb. The same can't be said for anything else about it.

Stronghold #3 moves fast, and not always in the right direction but the series continues to deliver.

Grand Moff Tarkin would fit right in with the Dark Horse era of Star Wars. And I can't think of a better place for a Star Wars comic to be.

A reprint of a never finished comic originally published nearly two decades ago. The years have not been kind to it.

Transformers isn't a high octane story but there are some promising developments this issue.

The series veers wildly between getting better and getting worse but at least it's almost over.

Stronghold #2 improves upon the first issue and bodes well for the rest of the series.

It's not up to the standards of IDW's previous Transformers books but it was unrealistic to expect that. However, it does show the potential to reach those heights.

While it's not the most satisfying of endings, it's more than adequate for this surprisingly enjoyable series.

A complete departure from previous issues but one entirely for the better. Unfortunately, it can't escape the mistakes previously made by this event.

Stronghold #1 is a great start to a promising series.

Heroes in Crisis #5 makes some small gains but actively undermines its chances of improving in any real way.

Hardcore #2 commits to the action aspect of its narrative, at the expense of everything else.

Go-Bots #3 takes the book into uncharted territory but Scioli is still moving in the right direction.

If you liked the film check it out. It doesn't have anything to offer if you didn't.

Cemetery Beach #5 might not be the most challenging book but it's exceptionally well made.

Heroes in Crisis offers little in the way of meaningful content.

Go-Bots #2 pairs a strange idea with a unique, competent execution.

Hardcore #1 fails to offer much and quickly limits the central premise.

Cemetery Beach #4 slows down the endless chase but there's no reason to think it won't pick up again.

Freeze #1 has a strong premise that it fails to follow up on.

Marvel Action: Spider-Man #1 has its refreshing moments but could offer the reader a little more.

Go-Bots salvages the basic concept but it doens't leave Scioli a lot of creative freedom.

Murder Falcon #2 is an improvement over the first issue but it could still use a little more substance.

Cemetery Beach #3 keeps the story on track.

United States vs. Murder Inc. #3 goes a bit off the rails but it hasn't stopped looking great.

Tom King has written a number of great comics but this isn't one of them.

The Whispering Dark is largely forgettable and fails to establish a compelling premise.

Cemetery Beach continues from its promising start but needs to start delivering.

Murder Falcon Issue #1 has some thrilling moments but fails to present its more human side.

Outside of a few missteps, United States Vs. Murder Inc. is definitely one of the stronger books to come out of Bendis' modern body of work.

The book's execution of an interesting concept and approach to complex topics proves to be in poor taste. DC's newest event is off to a rocky start.

Power Rangers: Back to School is a pleasant, if mixed experience.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 #1 fails to capture the magic of the show, as it falls between the cracks of two different mediums.
