Lindsay has written some instantly lovable characters who are wholly unique in their own right and Sebastian Priz was the perfect artist to bring this vision to life. There's a certain charm to his art that's both simplistic and incredibly detailed. Pages leap to life as Priz flexes his art skills. The character designs are unique and the colors are perfect for this art style.

Cable#11 is one of the better issues in the series, utilizing its supporting characters for some enjoyable scenes and kicking the plot into high gear with the return of a familiar face.

This is the best the character of Cable (young or old) has been in a longtime --and the rest ofReloadedshould be a fun story to see unfold.Cable: Reloadedis a fun ride that acknowledges its characters' histories while delving into the ever-expanding story of Ewing's cosmic Marvel.

All in all,Captain America#30 ended the way most expected -- and if you liked Coates's run, that's a good thing.

What Captain Marvel #30 does is wrap up one plotline neatly while introducing an exciting future for both Kelly Thompson and the heroine she's writing.

Captain Marvel#31 isn't the high-paced action/adventure this series is used to, but it works in this issue's favor. Thompson's writing is sharp as ever and Takeshi Miyazawa's pencils get the job done.

This arc seems like an interesting opportunity for more interactions between the Marvel-family characters, all while honoring the history of the mantle.

This arc still has plenty of legs to stand on to make it an intriguing read, but the bumps in the road are undeniable here. Hopefully, these will be addressed properly later.

While it's sad to see the series go, Champions#9 is another solid issue in a series that's only been getting better with each new volume.

Detective Comics #1041 is a fun little ride that continues to build on this new side of Gotham Tamaki and Mora have shined a light on. The A story continues to take exciting turns while the B story offers an interesting new tale.

Everfrost is a series that takes the reader on an emotional journey, particularly where Van is concerned. While certain plot beats can be confusing or even quite shocking, there's a certain peace in the end that makes it all worth it. It's clear Lindsay knew what he wanted to do with this series the minute he sat down to write it -- and Kivela's pencils bring that world to life quite effortlessly.

Excalibur ditches the gala and goes back to the fantasy-inspired tale, featuring gorgeous pencils from Marcus To.

Guardians of the Galaxy#18 is a great send-off to a fantastic arc and a love letter to Ewing's own stint on the title. ThisGuardiansrun will surely be remembered as one of the greats and while it's sad to see it go, it really couldn't have ended on a stronger note.

Hellionsis one of the best titles on the X-shelf right now, creating oddly entertaining character dynamics and plots thatfeelimportant. Roge Antonio is a welcome addition on this title, making every page look as good as Wells' writing reads.

Hellions#14 might not be the character-driven story we're used to getting from this series, but the plot is exciting enough to ensure its place as one of the best series Marvel is publishing right now.

Hellions#15 displays the wonderful dysfunction of the team and makes the book feel relevant and fresh, including in plot beats that feel like they have major implications.

Hellions#16 hits the emotional beats where it needs to and begins to wrap up the series on a holistic note. It's sad to see the book go, but it's clear Wells is doing this on his own terms, giving the series a chance to reach its natural conclusion. After all, isn't that the best way to end a story?

Hopefully, Marauders #22 is a signal for what's to come for the series, portraying interesting dynamics and respecting characters' histories while adding onto them in meaningful ways.

Ayala's writing is the perfect mix of dark and heartfelt, portraying the importance of relationships on Krakoa. Alex Lins' art is a natural fit on this book as well.

Throughout this series, Humberto's character history isn't just acknowledged, it's expanded on in realistic ways that make the title feel so completely natural.

Andres Genolet is the real star of this issue, with his artwork giving life to each of the characters' emotions. The silent issue premise here works beautifully in some regards, but really lacks in others.

Runaways #38's big strength, at the end of the day, is the groundwork it lays for the future of the series for when another writer inevitably takes over.

S.W.O.R.D. #6 is a beautifully written comic with gorgeous art to boot. It's filled with great surprises and wonderful character moments to make anyone excited for the future of cosmic Marvel and the X-Men as a whole.

S.W.O.R.D.#7 is another stellar issue in a great series. Ewing and Caselli make a great team and it's hard not to be excited for the future of this book.

S.W.O.R.D.#8 is a love letter to Storm's legacy and outlines an exciting future for one of Marvel's most iconic characters. It's hard to read this issue and not get excited for what comes next.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #9 is a return to form and a reminder of the best and worst parts of the original series.

Last Annihilation: Wiccan & Hulklingisn't just a good Billy and Teddy comic, it's another exciting installment in the cosmic Marvel landscape that's been heating up in recent months.

Way of Xas a series finds its strength in posing philosophical questions and exploring those ideas. The Onslaught ideas are exciting and Spurrier lays some really interesting groundwork for his future X-work here.

X-Men #4 delves into 3 of its core casts' psyches (to various degrees of success).

If old school X-Men is your jam,X-Men Legends#5 is another strong entry in the series, giving readers an enjoyable blast from the past that isn't too earth-shattering to turn heads but provides an enjoyable read.

All in all,X-Men Legends#6 is a good addition to the originalX-Factorrun, with an intriguing story and great pencilwork by Todd Nauck.

The emotional highs of this book hit right where they need to, particularly where Erik is involved. And while it's clear that this story is a lot more complicated than it seems on the surface, the unraveling of this mystery is quite intriguing.

All in all, the first half ofTrial of Magneto#2 is a lot stronger than the second half, but without all the pieces in play, it doesn't feel fair to the creative team to completely judge some elements of the title just yet. WhenTrial of Magnetohas its highs, they are very high -- and the title's lows can be a bit puzzling.

X-Men: The Trial of Magneto#3 boasts beautiful artwork thanks to Lukas Werneck, who makes sure every page seems bursting with life. Unfortunately, issue #3 is definitely the weakest of the story thus far because of how it meanders around, making one wonder how much more concise this plot would be if itwasjust anotherX-Factorarc instead of this blown-out miniseries. But, what Trial of Magneto#3 does best is set up its next issue with that shocking reveal.
