Every story in this book is great and is the creative teams bringing their A game.

Deathstroke 25 tackles the question of what evil really is incredibly well. With stellar art and writing, it continues to be one of the best series being published in comics.

Flash Annual #1 sets up Flash War extremely well and is some of Joshua Williamson's best work on the title yet.

A fantastic issue from a fantastic event. One of the best events done in recent times with no forced tie-ins from other books.

A great comedy/crime book written really well by Gail Simone with fantastic art by Adriana Melo.

Batman: The Drowned succeeds in what it sets out to do: give a backstory and personality to a female Batman who has the powers of Aquaman and Mera.

As usual, Christopher Priest writes an amazing, well-crafted story with amazing art by Diogenes Neves.

Christopher Priest continues to write one of the best books currently out there which is complemented greatly by its art style.

A well crafted issue that plays against the expectations that the preview says with great art.

Doom Patrol #9 is the perfect blend of weird and meta-textual without being self indulgent.

The weird and the wonderful kick into high gear in this issue and there is no other way it should be.

With brilliant art by Howard Porter and a great story by Joshua Williamson, The Flash #33 delivers an opening to the "Bats Out of Hell" arc with both visuals and writing that continue to make Metal one of DC's best events.

A fantastic issue in both story and art -- perfect for the 700th issue of The Flash.

An amazing issue that provides meta commentary on the state of Barry Allen while setting a road ahead to Flash War.

The Flash #45's second half is as great as the Annual with brilliant art by Christian Duce and colors by Luis Guerrero. The first half is pretty good, as well, but it serves mostly as setup for the future and a wrap-up of the previous arc.

A very good issue reintroducing Hunter with the character's designer on art.

A slow starting issue with intriguing writing and fantastic art by the great team of Lemire and Sorrentino.

Justice League has a very Deathstroke vibe from Christopher Priest who now writes both. It sets out with one goal for the issue and executes it perfectly.

Continuing the perfect trend of weird and wonderful, Cave Carson/Swamp Thing has great art and writing and is one of the best issues of Milk Wars!

A fun, absurd story that continues the strangeness of Milk Wars.

Tomasi does great setting up the relationship between the Super Pets using minimal dialogue which is backed up by the fantastic art by Pelletier.

Donny Cates swings for the fences with Thanos this week and hits it so far out of the park that it lands in a park three cities over with help from Geoff Shaw's amazing visuals.

It's an incredibly fun issue that sets up a lot more of the series and builds a great dynamic with the rest of the team.

The Terrifics continues to be fantastic and one of my favorite series at DC. The artwork was a shift from Reis and wouldnt be what I'd say fits the book, but it's not bad.

Shaner's debut issue on the title is amazing and his artwork is beyond fantastic. Shaner and Lemire mesh incredibly well!

An absolutely great issue with great writing by Jeff Lemire and amazing artwork by Evan Shaner.

An insight into the background of Mister Oz after the reveal gives some necessary motive behind one of Rebirth's most behind the scenes villains.

As a fantastic continuation of the Oz Effect, Action Comics #990 captures the essence of Superman spectacularly.

Christopher Priest continues to write an ongoing story about a once mercenary turned hero leading a team of teenagers with the feel of a television show with spectacular writing.

A very delayed but very good issue with brilliant writing and art. However you might as well just wait for the trade due to the delays.

The Flash #32 sets up a new status quo for the book for the time being. It brings back old characters and some newer characters and is a great step for the book overall.

The Flash #41 continues an intriguing storyline of a man who has lost his defining trait and his dark path to try and regain it.

A fun little issue that continues the plot of Flash War with fantastic art by Howard Porter.

Shade/Wonder Woman is a great story that addresses traditional gender roles of women while also saying that they aren't a good thing.

New Super-man and the JLC #20 is a solid new opening to the retitled book that makes me excited for whats coming next.

Ragman superbly sets up the miniseries with stunning art from Miranda and great writing from Fawkes and pushes forward into DCs mystical section.

With emotional moments throughout the issue, Action Comics #991 ends the Oz Effect storyline on a high note.

Its a very good issue but with a lot of decompression.

A good issue that removes some long overdue problems with the book, and in doing so, returns earlier plots to the forefront.

Joshua Williamson writes a great story as usual and does a great job setting up for the annual and the arc leading up to Flash War and is complimented by Scott Kolins on art.

A solid start to the event with great artwork!

Hack/Slash: Resurrection is a great opener to the newest installment in the franchise and is perfect for new readers and older ones alike.

A good third act to the Bats Out of Hell crossover with great art, Venditti writes a compelling Hal Jordan.

"Oz Effect" part 3 brings the pieces of Mr. Oz's plan closer without fully showing what it is.

Eternity is a good jumping on point for new readers, however it makes more sense with a little back reading into the character of Divinity.

An interesting end to the introduction of a new villain that changes the status quo of the book for a while.

A good story that adds an interesting new dynamic to the Flash mythos with art that both succeeds and falters.

The writing of the issue is fine, with emotional beats. However, the art and colors are what makes it stand out.

The artwork by Howard Porter is fantastic as usual. Williamson's writing in the first three quarters is great, however the new forces leave me worried and concerned.

Fighting through the finale of Gotham Resistance, Green Arrow doesn't disappoint.

Robert Venditti writes a solid second issue that shows interaction between the Justice League and their dark mirrors incredibly well. The only problem is it feels decompressed throughout the issue.

With areas of decompression, Justice league manages to delve into Cyborgs subconscious and hopefully make him into a greater asset for the Justice League.

The issue has some really great moments and a good opener to the arc, however the inclusion of Jon into the story is one that so far may or may not be needed.

Theres some super questionable decisions when it comes to Anarky but the high point of this issue is Javier Fernandez's art.

Batman: The Devastator has some really great art and some good writing that is held back by overuse of captions.

A much better issue than last writing wise and Di Giandomenicos art is great with Plascencias colours this week.

This issue felt rather lackluster and would have worked better as part of an issue of the last arc.

The characterization of Batman and Robin in this issue was massively off, but otherwise it's a good issue.

Williamson writes an amazing Wally in this issue who contrasts with an awful Barry, which is a shame.

Overall, Gotham City Garage is a series with as much potential as DC Bombshells has, however the art style holds it back from being as good as it could be.

Very much a filler issue with okay writing and art that isn't very good.

The artwork of this issue and the variant cover by Frisson are the only saving graces of this issue. Robinson's writing is absolutely trash.
