While it may not completely shed the criticisms of being "slow, it offers enough compelling character work and artistic prowess to make it a worthwhile read for fans of the character and the burgeoning Ultimate line. Best issue of the series yet. Glad we're not spending pages and pages inside a feral Logan's head regurgitating old Wolverine themes.
Great world building, plot advancement, etc. Glad that the book is finally fleshing out more of the Eurasian republic.
Art is excellent but mostly invisible if that makes sense. It tells the story very well but is nothing spectacular.
