    Marvel's Black, White & Blood #4 is a fitting finale to the anthology, delivering three smart, stylish horror stories that prove the format still has plenty of life. Between Waid and Fornes' chilling Doctor Strange opener, Oliveira and Pulido's thoughtful Blade tale, and LaValle and De Oliveira's gloriously strange Defenders story, this issue showcases just how flexible Marvel's horror sandbox can be. It may not be perfectly balanced in tone or impact, but the creativity on display makes this a satisfying and memorable capper to the latest Black, White & Blood legacy. Read Full Review

    Marvel's scariest series concludes with a crowd-pleasing does of thrills, chills, and smashes. This issue had more super heroics involved than previous chapters. The teams delivered on the goods when time was right. It was a steady conclusion to a surprising haunting series for all the right reasons. Read Full Review

    Plot
    This special features several short stories from different creative teams, in black, white, and blood red:

    “CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR” by MARK WAID, JORGE FORNES, and JOE SABINO: Doctor Strange, in an extreme act of hubris, attempts to heal himself using magic, but it backfires lethally. Wong appears to save the day. The pulp comic horror tone is superb.


    “NATURE RED IN TOOTH AND CLAW” by ANTHONY OLIVEIRA, JAVIER PULIDO, and JOE SABINO: Blade deals with a vampire situation that initially seemed harmless.
