Once again, Schultz and company do a really good job of making this particular wolverine very unique. She is distinct. She has her own person. And she's not just a female Logan. Her powers may be more or less identical, but her personality and precisely what it is that she's going through are completely different things altogether. So it's a lot of fun seeing that come through. There's a lot of fun seeing how it all developed. And it will be interesting to see where Schultz takes this series next. Read Full Review
We continue to get some amazing stories with Laura that tie into so much more of the Marvel comics world while still feeling like a completely stand alone story. All while also getting to know a very underrated (in my opinion) character. In any Wolverine comic I always love the inner dialogue of back and forth with themselves. The stubbornness, to acceptance. Wolverines always seem to know what they need to do whether they like it or not. This issue showed that so well. Laura knows what she wants and what Gabby needs may not align. Read Full Review
Of the X-Men side characters' books going on right now this one is probably my favorite. It's still relatively low stakes but at least it has Gabby. The relationship between Gabby and Xarus is fun and I hope Gabby becomes more of a regular character in whatever book Laura is the regular in.
