THE HORSEMEN OF APOCALYPSE! The shocking reveal of the summer pays off as WOLVERINE and DEADPOOL serve as HORSEMEN of the mutant APOCALYPSE! If you missed this revelation, time to catch up here with issue #9!
Benjamin Percy writes such perfect dialogue and stories between the Merc with the Mouth and everyone's favorite short king. Deadpool/Wolverine has been a perfect example of what is so fun about these two. Despite the story being about a time-traveling mutant who's controlling a Hulk-raged mutant with adamantium claws, it's still very real. Yet, in addition to having an amazing story, you also get just the right amount of humor we've come to expect with these BFFs. Percy has mastered the perfect balance of action, storytelling, and humor. MAXIMUM EFFORT BUB! Read Full Review
Plot
Apocalypse/Stryfe once again controls Wolverine by turning him into a monster with an excess of Legacy Virus 2.0.
Talyn, along with Maverick and Deadpool, mind-controlled, enter Apocalypse/Stryfe's Mainframe and attempt to destroy the entire mutant DNA library on the planet, but it won't be easy, as Apocalypse/Stryfe is about to fight Talyn.
Deadpool reaches the mutant Legacy's prison, and upon touching him, removes the entire dose of Legacy Virus 2.0. Deadpool thanks him for being a slimy kisser. Legacy does the same with Maverick, but it won't be so easy with Wolverine.
The penultimate chapter is full of emotion, and we finally see Legacy's potential.

This got me thinking, hm, virus made Logan's adamantium skeleton get bigger along with the rest of his body, what if that didn't work and he was just a giant angry sack of flesh with metal bones stuck way deep inside? Or maybe the virus had Pym particles in it so everything got bigger. Does that mean Hank Pym could use Pym particles to target just Logan's skeleton and turn him into a man-sized angry sack of flesh with tiny metal bones stuck way deep inside?
What would these Logans be called? Could they support one or two solo books? Would his healing factor eject the bones, or grow a tinier extra Logan in there? Be neat if he could open his mouth real wide and there'd be a tiny Wolverine looking out like some weird mutant xe more
