Only one person survived a murder attempt by the Holiday killer. Was that just an accident or does the man in question--the Riddler-know the answer to the puzzling mystery? Batman needs answers before another victim falls!

Really well written. Loeb's script is sharp and grounded, and he's got a great voice for Batman and Comissioner Gordon in particular. Even Catwoman, who I find very few writers are able to write well, is a show-stealer in almost every scene she's in.
This issue takes a very somber tone and slows the world down a little bit. Bruce lamenting not trusting Harvey with his identity sooner, Gordon trying to find companionship as his list of allies has shrunk so far, Bruce still seems dissociative when having Thanksgiving with Selina. The people of Gotham are still reeling.
