Honestly I really wanted to like this issue. I want to continue loving Marauders. But I just don't. There were stellar issues in the past, it is still one of my favorite mutant series but the series feels all over the place, and that is disappointing. It seems like there is really less and less consistency in the story arc - it is one thing one issue, another the next, and the threads are not really combined well. Also, at least half of the team is off duty each issue. Would be nice to just have a "Mutant Pirates at sea" story again, which was the premise of the book, IIRC - or at least some consistency. Maybe I am overly critical today, but I am left disappointed more and more with Marauders, and I don't enjoy that.
