The story continues with character driven twists and in-depth clever depiction of our our Foes. The color art works wonders and gives shine to the numerous details bij Lieber. Be it a trophy in Shocker's living room or the recurrent gag of the movie An Ugly Truth. The muted tone contrasts the colorful characters well.
The story manages to surprise, delight and keeps us on our toes.
How will all the plots tie together? It is a compliment how both Spencer and Lieber a manage to continue the overall story while giving us a meaty comic with proper continuation, characterization whilst dropping hits of things to come.
Great work.
The cover art is a monumental piece of art. Attention to detail is found in the smaller depiction of the logo to make the best of the page. Colour and linework look natural. If that is the case it is the best art it can be. There are nods in the cover which regular readers will pick up, like the puppy and Speed Demon (which he stole and came to love), Overdrive with his car, Beetle with her Phone and Shocker who has a reputation for cowardice.
Recommended.
