A pretty good story despite Batman not seeming very "World's Greatest Detective", which seems to be par for the course with Tom King. I liked the art and the flashback panels.

"I let him get this close." Why do these things keep happening to Batman, the World's Greatest Detective? And seemingly misunderstanding Bronze Tiger's motives. The Batburger section could've been fine if the series was a meta take on Batman but here the tone just doesn't fit with the rest of the story. Repetition seems to be a theme here: "And yet..."; "I am Bane", which is lame and already getting old. On a positive note, there is some good artwork - the opening panel's colors were quite reminiscent of The Killing Joke, which was pretty cool.

Some of the rogues' gallery cameos worked well but others were too brief to really amount to anything at all. And why was Bane bloodied after we see no one do any damage to him?

This was alright but I come away from it feeling like what point did it serve in regard to the main story of the event?

Great issue. Best of the series.

"There's room in the world for both of our teams." That really doesn't seem like Batman. And he wants Lobo on his team? I'm really starting to wonder why these writers are struggling to write Batman properly.

The story is alright but the change in art is too jarring and doesn't fit in with what had been established in the previous issues. And whatever was supposed to be the big deal about Pretty's face did not pay off.

Loved the black & white for the flashback. Nice touch. Things are getting pretty heavy story-wise. Great issue.

A solid story. John Romita's art was hit and miss but Eddy Barrows, Eber Ferreira, and Adriano Lucas saved the issue on that front. This is nitpicking but it seemed a bit strange that the art took on a painterly quality for the last page. It looked great, the style just didn't match up with the rest of the second part of the issue.

I really wish they'd just let Barrows, Ferreira, and Lucas handle all the art on these issues.

The art in this issue is mostly great. I love how well Liam Sharp's and Laura Martin's work gelled together here. On the first few pages where Wonder Woman's in her room, even though there's little dialogue, the art is really able to tell the story.
