Not gonna lie....the cover word play kinda made me look at this book with a side eye. Overall though you get to learn how much stress psychically it puts on the ring wearer. That's something I thought of but never took into account before as that serious. That side story of Stel & Yron Green lanterns of past was interesting hope they go into that more.

Interesting I didn't know Hal had so many issues being bossed around. I mean especially being in the military. Then again he was just a Air Force test pilot lol...no shade them boy 7 girls have nerves of steel. You would think he can conduct himself a little better. I understand why he would choose the path he did.

This fool over here regretting his decision. Ince he finds out who they gave the ring too...No sir. Not how it works there. I'm not fully onboard yet as to how their writing John, but it seems its going to take a few more books. Overall a decent read.

It’s kind of refreshing going back and reading this all these old comics, without opening the ones I own lol..it’s good to go back and reading this to get a better understanding of John Stewart which is the journey I’m on..and learn a little more about the other lanterns I guess, focus being on John, Kyle, Baz, Jessica being the ones I like the most.

Well I've been reading comics for a long long longgggg time 😂. All I can say is...we've come a long way indeed. I decided to go on a character binge like I do from time to time..and John Stewart is up to bat. I know a decent amount but wanted to see how much he's changed since his inception. This was a good read for introduction to my favorite Green Lantern next to Kyle.
