Tom King seems to treat even his extended runs as out-of-continuity Vertigo titles. As a result, you never know which aspects are to be considered canon or not. From Batman, for example, Alfred is still dead, but Bruce and Selina aren't married. First of all, I've always been more of an upper body guy, but Alan Scott's lower body on this cover is slammin'! Definite muscle bear vibes. Thank you, Kris Anka.

My favorite part of this issue was/were the different visions of what a freer, safer, and/or more inclusive world would look like for each of these characters. I also love the sense of community and shared perseverance.
