About Me: We are a registered 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to fostering an appreciation for the breadth, quality, and legitimacy of the comics medium to both the public at large and specifically to the next generation of would-be consumers and even creators. Conceptually, the modern form has exceptiona l story-telling value worth more attention than its collectability. Many stories are enhanced, synergized, and only possible through the medium of graphic story-telling. Likewise, establishments like the Eisner, Harvey, and Ringo awards offer a credibility to the medium that should offset the common greeting I used to receive from my grandfather, “Are you still reading those funnybooks?” The answer was always “Yes.
