G. Willow Wilson continues to up the ante in regards to the story. Although I was quite surprised by how quickly Heather After was able to summon Auberon and get her deal with him set. But that said. I get the impression that we are in for some bigger twists as the story progresses. Especially given that Puck is still out there and still capable of causing a great deal of trouble. The Dreaming: Waking Hours #7 is a great second issue in a story arc that is at the height of imaginative writing and artistry. The wow factor is lessoned by comparison to the first issue, but it's a nice reminder of how high of a bar this series has set. Read Full Review

G. Willow Wilson's The Dreaming: Waking Hours is a delightful series that mixes classic Sandman Universe characters with Wilson's own new characters. Wilson does a fine job of adding to the the mythos created by Neil Gaiman. While it's great to see some old friends in the story, there's plenty of new elements to keep the story fresh. Despite being billed as an intermission, a standalone story breaking up two larger arcs of The Dreaming, this story seems to lead straight into what comes next. Despite that, it has the air of a backdoor pilot. Read Full Review
