House of Whispers #7

This looks like a step in the right direction. This is the beginning of a new story arc and I think I can see where it is going. Bringing in Anansi and The Corinthian works. Having a human host for Shakpana who is just as evil as he is excellent. I feel better about this. Having a bit more Maggie there is a good move because a voice of reason in a book with dream logic is smart. The reader can connect to her and she can be our avatar. Read Full Review

I hesitate to use an overworked phrase, but this issue really would be a perfect jumping on point, a well executed tale that is bound to make one want to pick up the next issue. Read Full Review

Even after some cursory research, I am completely lost with this story. I'm not sure what is happening, or what the main characters are attempting to achieve. I think that's a problem when you're seven issues into a comic book series. Read Full Review

I wish this book was all short story nightmares, you know like House of Mystery and Secret anthologies, the imagery in this one was very unsettling.

By far the weakest of the series thus far. The story is very convoluted and tries to do too much in one issue.
