Comics: The Gathering - Jason Laframboise
Aug 01, 2017I loved this book on all levels. We couldn't ask for a better team to guide this book. The journey we have started here is a fresh take on the X-O Manowar mythology, and has captured this reader. I feel like Aric has been fleshed out as a damaged character that really has added a new dimension to the classic Valiant character. This is the best the new Valiant can do for the readers, making great comics. I can't wait to continue the journey next month. A great series that is a must buy. Read Full Review

If anyone is rating this any lower than 9.5 then they are lying to you, to themselves and to God. X-O Manowar is the greatest thing I have read in years. Matt Kindt is firing on all cylinders and the artwork just blows everything out of the water. Keep buying and reading Marvel's Secret Empire and DC's Metal ... but if you're not reading X-O Manowar then you're missing out on the best series thats currently being printed.

I guess I am lying or am more critical than I should be. The art is great and the story is still developing I am sure there are some 10s coming up but this isn't one,the story is building to what I hope will be an amazing couple issues. all that said this is indeed a must read.
