Whilst I can't say this arc is my favorite I've read featuring X-O Manowar, I absolutely love that Matt Kindt has written a story that implores readers to learn from the past. Read Full Review

There is not much to this issue besides the asides, but those asides are likely to evoke both widened eyes and some laughter, making it worth a look. Read Full Review

This series of X-O Manowar has had its ups and downs but at this point, I think I'm going to remove it from my subscription list. Maybe I'll pick these issues up during a comiXology sale or something, but I'm tired of paying $3.99 per issue when nothing is happening. The value is just not there right now. Read Full Review

X-O Manowar #17 isnt a particularly interesting read. Aric and Sabbas have some decent interplay, and the artwork is great. Beyond that, this issue is a bit dull. I can recommend it to the X-O Manowar diehard fan who love Aric, but I cant suggest it for anyone else. Read Full Review

Setting up for an epic showdown. The next issue should be killer.

Sooo... The warriors of Thamud had some fighters hidden in the sand far ahead of their own position (and before they even knew they would be there) that waited for the Romans to dig in the sand and wait for their own ambush? That part pulled me out of the story completely. I do appreciate that the pace has slowed down a bit from the massive campaigned squished into each issue though.
