A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night #2 is even better than the first. DeWeese's art continues to captivate and Amirpour raises provocative questions that should have crossed every serious vampire fanatic's mind at one point or another: How would the enduring hunger take a toll on one's mind? How would one truly view humans? This is a vampire tale that doesn't gloss over the anguish and misery and is made all the more absorbing because of it. Highly recommended. Read Full Review

The plot is as bare bones as you can get, I'm assuming it is meant to lead into the film (which I haven't seen). But the artwork is so gorgeous that is speaks for itself and needs very little plot to keep the reader engaged; this transforms what might otherwise be a liability into a strength.
