  This is the first of four one shots tied into the game, each one shot bringing with it a different set of creators for the main story. C. Edward Sellner will be the one creator common to the four books with the back up story. Deadlands goes on sale the 15th of this month and is a strong opening to the four books.   Don't whine about the subtitles or the fact that there is no flame throwing guitar, The Dead Lands is the film that you want to see if you like pure action movies. I'm pretty sure that the final scene robbed the music direct from the end of Death Wish 2, because since hearing it replayed in my head over and over again since leaving the IFI Dublin.
