    Comics Bulletin - Christopher Power/Kevin Powers

    The quality of Young X-Men has definitely gotten better as the series continues. Guggenheim seems to have a fantastic direction laid out for at least the next two story-arcs, and he's really got a grasp on the characters. The tone of this title has gotten a bit darker since the first issue and that comes from the disposal of the playful banter and the characterization of Cyclops more in tune with the rest of the X-universe. There's a lot of solid material here, and I am indeed looking forward to where Guggenheim goes with this, especially with the coming of Uncanny X-Men #500. Read Full Review

    If ever a series needed to hurry up and get to the point, it's Young X-Men. Perhaps once Guggenheim reveals his inevitable twist and we find out what the series is "really about," the book's prospects will improve.     Young X-Men has taken a step in the right direction, now I just hope that things continue this way. I want to really like this book and it is improving, but it still has a ways to go before I can whole heartedly recommend it to anyone other than those that started with the series' debut.
