Oct 21, 2026Though it starts off strong, X-Men United #8 loses its momentum in the end, letting the conflict resolve a little too abruptly in order to set up the next chapter of the series. What is nice though, is that it feels like this series has found an identity that works. The strongest issues of X-Men United have seen the X-Men team up with non-mutant heroes, something that will hopefully continue as the series progresses. Read Full Review

I don’t know what it is with this book. I have seen in the past that Eve Ewing is capable of telling a decent story. Not a particularly great one, but at least a story with some relatable dialogue, a halfway decent plot and good pacing. This book just feels like nobody gives a fuck anymore. And don’t let me get started on the art. It just sucks.
