    Comic Watch - Ross Hutchinson

Im going to miss this book so very much. I was a fan of Marcus To and Erick Arciniegas work with Captain Britain throughout Krakoa, and having them together again here has been a treat. The way they create special effects throughout the book has been a real highlight, perfectly paired with Thornes voices for every character. Despite my quibble with some of the choices in this issue, it stands as the best in the crossover and one of the best in this volume of X-Force. Read Full Review

    Nerd Initiative - Megan Nichole

Marcus To and Erick Arcineiga created some really beautiful visuals throughout the comic but I'd have to say some of my favorites are from the fight with X-Force and La Diabla. With La Diabla's powerset giving off a green light along with the power, it works so well against Betsy's pink. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - William Tucker

X-Force Issue 9 takes ages to get to where it needs to be, purely answering a few questions without generating suspense or any feeling of peril. Read Full Review

One of the better issues of this X-Force run, probably because Sage is the most interesting member of this team (yes, I'm a huge Rachel fan, but she's kind of boring coupled up with Betsy). Also, I enjoyed Marcus To's art before, but this is probably his best work yet. Almost a shame this series is ending. There are much worse titles in the current X-Men line.

While other comics have either attempted to combine their own plotlines with the X-over or set them aside entirely to focus on it, this one splits the difference and jumps back and forth between whatever the title was already doing and an unrelated Sage story that addresses the crossover, and neither plot is served well by the divide. Also, hopefully you already know that John Wraith is some guy who showed up in a half dozen issues of Wolverine 33 years ago, because nothing in the comic deigns to explain that. Wonderful art, though!
