ComicBook.com - Nicole Drum
Nov 07, 2018After a somewhat serious and heavy previous arc, X-23 #6 gives readers something they don't often get in titles involving Laura: fun. Read Full Review

Nov 07, 2018X-23 #6 was a one and done story that was worth telling if you wanted to see Gabby where she shines best. I'm impressed that even though this series is called X-23, liberties are taken to make sure that we are getting the best of both worlds from Laura and Gabby. Their dynamic and bond is what we invest in. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Matthew David Clarke
Nov 23, 2018After a great first arc this is a slightly disappointing comic relief issue, albeit with some very clever coloring. I fully expect this series to get back on track in the next instalment. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Charles Martin
Nov 07, 2018Though the plot of this one-shot is straightforward, it's built up with considerable charm and care. It's funny, thoroughly believable, and beautiful to look at. X-23 #6 is a palate-cleanser that makes an excellent interlude between heavier stories. Read Full Review

GWW - Nick Friar
Nov 10, 2018A very nice change of pace from Tamaki, and I felt Georges Duarte's best work in the issue was X-23. He still maintained her look, while making her fit right in as a young, fit teacher. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Chris Aiken
Nov 09, 2018Still, the predictable plot doesn't stop the issue from being enjoyable. It's mindless superhero action at its best and a fun little distraction until the plot comes right back around. If anything, readers should pick this issue up just for the Gabby quotes alone – always golden. Read Full Review

Henchman-4-Hire - Sean Ian Mills
Nov 10, 2018X-23 delivers a pretty fun one-shot high school adventure, while completely ignoring all the great stories that could exist if this wasn't a done-in-one issue. Read Full Review

Nov 13, 2018I may be on some hater-ade, but I just expect a lot more from a favorite superhero. Cover makes it seem a lot cooler than it is, I feel like it would definitely be a memorable one, just with an basic story behind it. Art saves it, it has good detail with pretty background colors. Nov 09, 2018Put simply, it's an issue without depth, and hopefully the next issue will get the book back on track quickly. Read Full Review
