I have defended this series month after month, but this penultimate issue has me pretty down. It's bad enough that my two favorite characters book is ending, but splitting them up is heartbreaking. I hope it's just a twist that will be revealed in the finale, but even if it does, there is not much going on here besides the really good art. Read Full Review

Simmering tensions boil over between Laura and Gabby. It's a very human conflict, illustrated well in words and art. Bonus points for using a flashback structure to conceal the nature of the split and ramp up the tension. This is admittedly a pure character study, but if you're invested in the characters -- and the whole volume encourages that -- it's an enthralling one.

I liked this. I like Gabby and Laura so I'm glad we're focusing on them and not, ironically, more clones.

a good book well written the human element of these characters continues to develop. i love the cover art ashley witter does a fantastic job!

Solid but uninteresting. Some more good Gabby banter. Although, the 'feathered' being cameo is curious.
