Wolverine #3 is an excellently written and superbly illustrated issue that shows Percy's ability to make Wolverine a supremely interesting character beyond the stab and slash we know him for while the art team of Kubert, Martin, and Petit knock it out of the park in an issue with everything I want out of a modern Wolverine story. Even though the Magneto cold open felt a bit out of character, the rest of the issue drove nicely. The story was thrilling and ultimately made sense while leaving some amazing unanswered questions to uncover throughout Percys run. However, I again just forewarn the creative team to shelf a certain angle of trickery for the foreseeable future. Its just too easy of an out that will become stale if overused. Furthermore, this reviewer feels like its been two out of three issues now where some crazy mojo had to happen to connect the dots and make the story flow. Im excited for whats to come and looking forward to WOLVERINE becoming a solo book again. To date, this is a tremendously entertaining and action-packed series that should be on everyones pull list. I have been waiting for a good Logan ongoing for some time. While the last Wolverine ongoing starring Laura Kinney was fantastic, I grew up with Logan and having good stories starring him are a joy to read.

A very satisfying and well done conclusion to the first arc of this story. Man, Wolverine so far is probably my favorite Dawn of X book that I have read. Ben Percy is setting up why he is the next up and coming talent Marvel needs. This story only spanning three issues manages to capture the mentality, the growth, the character and mutant Wolverine has come to be after all these years. Loved Bannister and his daughter as a nice dichtomy to this story. While it did have a cool plot drive with this blackmarket of mutant drugs, it only merely serves for the redemption of Wolverine back into the X-men Universe. And I am here for it. Art by Kubert, perfection, easily one of Wolverine's best artists since the 90s. An amazing third issue.

Good Moments with a solid cast and just enough connection to the Xmen Books to tie things together. I think this version of Wolverine hangs on to what makes his personality work, hes kind of an ass at times and thats why we love him. Loved this conclusion of this Arc and seeing him with Magnetos helmet was super fun.

I dropped about 90% of the X-Men: Dawn of X line from my pull list. What remains is Wolverine and X-Force... for now. I broke a rule and watched a Thinking Critical YouTube video reading the issue. They were down on the comic but I thought the book was solid. The comic appears to be the end of the pale girl storyline for now. It also throws the reader a major curveball by having FBI Agent Bannister surviving last issues cliffhanger. The standout parts of the book are seeing Wolverine interact with the X-Family in the capacity of friend, family member, and teammate. Bannister also seems to be a solid new supporting castmate for Logan. The comic has goofy bits but its a lot of fun. Seeing Wolverine execute his plan flawlessly and make it to the other side was great in light of the circumstances he was up against at the end of the last issue. From here it appears that we're picking up on the Omega Red/Dracula storyline from issue #1. Omega Red, Cyber, and Sabretooth are my favorite Wolverine villains so I'm glad we're seeing him in a prominent role. Dawn of X isn't in the best spot but if you're a fan of Wolverine you're in decent hands with this series and X-Force. I'm not sure how long ill be hanging on due to the line being so interconnected thematically. X of Swords looks like a hot mess waiting to happen but if anything interesting comes from it Ill check it out. more

Solid words and solid-er art sell this as an enjoyable read. I love the big-picture plot; a Russia-vs-Krakoa cold war is just what DoX needs. But it's hardly perfect; the Pale Girl panned out as a pretty weak antagonist.

There were some interesting ideas here and this was an entertaining read overall, but I can't help but feel a little bit underwhelmed after how much I enjoyed the first issue. Either way, I'm looking forward to Omega Red, seemingly, returning in the next issue.

I still dislike the Pale Girl storyline. But I have to give this issue a star for making me want to read the Cable book.
