West Coast Avengers #8
| Writer | Kelly Thompson |
| Artist | Lim, Gang Hyuk |
| Cover Price | $3.99 |
• KATE BISHOP's ex NOH-VARR is back in town in a big way and needs her help with something weird. Do exes ever come back for normal reasons?! (They do not.)
• That's right, something foul is afoot in the City of Angels, and surprisingly, it's not the newly formed Masters of Evil West Coast (OR that Dutch Oven guy).
• No, this reeks of the Hollywood Elite with a seriously gross tinge of "cult," and it will take all of the West Coast Avengers working together - uncomfortable love triangles and personal problems be damned - in order to save the day. Sexy undercover mission, here we come!

Feb 27, 2019This book is one of the best things to come out Marvel in 2018 and it will win an Eisner if there's any justice in this world. Read Full Review

Feb 27, 2019This series makes for a delightful read in every single issue and it deserves tons of appraisal. I've loved every chapter's artwork until now, Lim's is easily my favorite since it fits so well with Thompson's storytelling. I'm looking forward to the next issue and hope this title carries on for a while longer. Read Full Review

Feb 27, 2019Kelly Thompson has outdone herself with WEST COAST AVENGERS #8. It's the most fun I've had with this series thus far. And Gang Hyuk Lim pretty much just took the title of best artist on this series. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Cat Wyatt
Feb 27, 2019West Coast Avengers #8 did a great job of balancing the humor and the plot. It set up for a longer-running plot (being at minimum two issues long), and also reminded us why some of these characters are a part of the team, despite their"distractions at times. This series has consistently amused me; it's funny but it also isn't shallow. There's always an actual plot to be had, even if it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's the perfect escape, and honestly is a nice change of pace from some of the more serious series out there. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Brandon Masters
Mar 02, 2019The Avengers of the West Coast may be a team of utter goofballs, but theyre a team with heart. Its a beautiful rush not to have to read about the end of the world each week and to have characters grow in ways that wont be ignored by a solo book coming out that same week. Once again, WCA remains one of the best books in Marvels library. You need to check it out, and this would be a great place to start for a new reader. Read Full Review
