The Comic Book Spot - Adam Koppel

    Aug 05, 2026

Wade Wilson: Deadpool #7 paints a tragic but entertaining portrait of an aimless and self-loathing mercenary who is hard to kill and wants to keep on living despite not knowing why. Deadpool emotes for real here, but he's still funny. The artwork captures the visceral subject matter in such vivid detail that it might as well be called the Carnage of Deadpool. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke

    Aug 05, 2026

Wade Wilson: Deadpool #7 keeps one of Marvel's most inventive recent Deadpool concepts firing on all cylinders. Benjamin Percy smartly shifts the focus from shock value to consequences, forcing Wade to think twice before doing what usually comes naturally: getting hurt. Alex Lins matches the script with gleefully disgusting visuals that push the horror-comedy tone to memorable extremes. While the larger mystery remains largely untouched ahead of "Big Guns," the issue does an excellent job proving just how dangerous the mini Deadpools have become, making the coming crossover feel like a natural next step rather than a detour. Plot
Deadpool and Blind Al live a life of luxury and fame thanks to Al's financial acumen, as he can see the future. But the Badpools are obsessed with Wade, and drinking his blood is the only thing that soothes their perpetual pain.

Deadpool is at a disadvantage, facing hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Badpools in every conceivable form. They relentlessly attack, their numbers increasing each time Deadpool loses a limb, like his jaw. Wade devises a plan to eliminate them all, but it's still unclear who's behind it all.

A very satisfying conclusion to this outlandish Deadpool adventure against enemies only he could face.

The next issue begins the BIG GUNS crossover with Punisher.
