Overall it's a good book. It's got decent action, moves at a steady pace and leaves the reader in a position for more interesting things to happen. Sure it may feel like the middle section of a more interesting story, but it's loaded with action and humor, and sometimes that's enough. Read Full Review

Action, action and action in this issue and I loved every page. Seeing the team fighting mind controlled members is pretty awesome. Duggan finally builds up to action paced issue and it totally lives up to every promise. We have Rouge beating the holy crap out of someone and spider-man chucking people at high velocity and Wong actually do something is really awesome to see. The Art of Larraz and coloring of Almara is just another highlight to this issue.

Another great issue and easily the best Avengers book now: including Champions, Avengers, Ultimates, USAvengers, and Occupy Avengers. Pepe Larraz is doing a great job

This series continues to impress with the Red Skull storyline. Skull is definitely an awesome foe with the telepathic mind of Charles Xavier, and he's delightful as the villain here. This book has action, a tight plot, and strong dialogue. Pepe Larraz's artwork also impresses here. It's a lot of fun to read.

Deadpool and Spider-Man take down the Skull's pet Avengers (not to be confused with the Pet Avengers), but the Red Skull himself proves to be a tougher nut to crack. Gerry Duggan does a fine job of keeping this confrontation steaming along at a tremendous pace. This story arc could have been gutted by the buildup for Secret Empire and its change in the Cap/Skull relationship, but it's playing out very entertainingly. The Red Skull's obsession with this particular team does seem a bit misguided, though.
