Uncanny Avengers is easily one of my favorite books Marvel is currently publishing and if they continue to put out issues like this one, it will stay a favorite for a long time. If you are not reading this title, you are missing something special. Ulysses seems to be right, again. Cable and Rogue go on an unsanctioned mission to hunt down a cure for the Terrigen poisoning that's been affecting mutants – and this is enough to ignite the war. This issue works wonderfully in the context ofCivil War II and we'd recommend it thoroughly if you're looking for the full experience of the event. Read Full Review

Duggan's parallel storytelling, with contrasting themes of harmony and hostility, is simply superb. This is not what I expected from Uncanny Avengers, and it's definitely one of the deeper issues from the series. No Avengers title has come further than Uncanny Avengers. This series started out slow, but has really picked up steam and is the best of the Avengers bunch. Gerry Duggan has found his groove and is telling a very interesting tale. The pencils and colors have also picked up to launch this book into must-read territory. Read Full Review

The inevitable Civil War II tie-in arrives for the Uncanny Avengers, and fortunately, it's a pretty good one. Deadpool grabs the spotlight for most of this book, as he is wont to do, as he embarks on a secret mission to bust Hawkeye out of prison. Read Full Review

Though the Cable and Cap parts of this issue were good, the real fun was Deadpool breaking into a prison to break out Hawkeye. It was funny, action-packed, beautifully drawn, and connected to Civil War II not to much and not too little. Amazing

The cable capt thing kinda killed the bro moment of deadpool and hawkeye. But hope it leads to a great storyline.
