Superior Spider-Man #2 was for the most part all battle, but so far it has been one worth following from start to finish in this second issue. If you weren't already invested in this book, the events of this clash with Terrax has surely enough given you a reason to come back for more. Overall, this issue is filled from start to finish with a knock down, drag out fight between Terrax and Superior Spider-Man. Some of the outside cast introduced so far chips in to contribute a helping hand, but that's all your really getting in this issue which only serves to setup a cliffhanger. The art is good and nothing about the writing here is bad, but this break in the story for a long fight feels like a strange detour right now, especially when the series has yet to establish itself. I'm really enjoying this book. Gage captures the voice of Otto Octavius perfectly. The art is pretty solid as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how the major sub-plot line plays out.

Well that was very good. Otto take a beating down there, but it's Normal. I fearead that he will have a easy match with Terrax, but no the tamer seem quite powerfull. Cover - I take the variant, so not linked. 1/2 Writing - I liked how this was right. I smiled when otto's mercenary run away ^^ ... I love Ana Maria. And Terrax feel right. Sure it's weird that parker don't respond and that the avengers are in off planet. Like if there wasn't another heroes on earth looking the news. But for the sake of the story I roll with it. 3/ Arts - Love the grey atmosphere in much of the story. But after this, I hope the town will not turn shiny by magic. ^^ 3/3 Feeling - Love this title. 2/2

Yeah, I'm into this. I just really like Ock and the fight between Terrax and Superior Spider-Man is really fun and brutal.

Gage is warming up. I'm enjoying this story very much. Nice art by Hawthorne, inks by WV Grawbadger and beautiful colors by J Bellaire.

This issue reminds me of Peter taking on two of the Phoenix Five back in Avengers VS X Men, though I will say it was done a bit better there. This issue, nevertheless is good if only it was a bit less action then it couple have been perfect.
