Mar 09, 2025This issue takes a slight deviation from the actual Storm story arc in service of a crossover that continues in X-Men #13. Suffice to say, I won't be covering the crossover, as I tend to buy most of my comics and can only manage so many per week. While it's a solid enough story, I can't help but feel it sidesteps the main focus, which is Storm. I'm much more invested in her ongoing arc and hope normal service resumes in issue #7. Mar 05, 2025Storm #6 pulls off its balancing act pretty well: not only does it push its main story forward, but it closes out the first act of "X-Manhunt" on an intriguing note. Not only am I interested to see where the rest of "X-Manhunt" goes, but I want to see Storm's new armor in action especially since Ayodele has teased Ororo will be fighting other Thunder Gods next issue.
