Star Wars: Darth Vader #13 is another solid tie-in issue in the "Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters" crossover event. Readers who are currently reading the entire storyline will not be disappointed. Readers who are just reading this series will also be happy that it can be read as a stand-alone issue. I'm still not fully on board with this War of the Bounty Hunters storyline but I'm really enjoying seeing how Pak is working Vader's involvement with it. We're dealing fully with it but it still feels like it's around the edges and doing its own thing instead. And we get a good clear look at some of what Vader is going to have to face in the near future as well when it comes to challenges on Coruscant. Raffael Ienco has quickly become my preferred artist when it comes to depicting Darth Vader and each issue of his work only cements it more and more. Star Wars: Darth Vader #13is a bit slower in pace compared to previous issues but that is to be expected. The series is playing a role in a larger crossover event and is beholden to the pacing of the other Marvel comics. Read Full Review
