Jason Aaron is delivering another memorable Star Wars epic with this latest arc. It's impressive to watch Aaron shaking up his approach with each new issue, following up last month's comedy-driven chapter with this darker, almost horror-flavored story. There's danger and drama to spare in this issue, but it's a shame the exaggerated art style isn't always ideally matched to the tone of Aaron's script. Read Full Review

Plenty of action here include a lightsaber battle between Luke and Kreel and multiple battles between the Rebels and Stromtroopers all over the ship, one of which nearly gets Sana sucked out an airlock. Things aren't looking good for our heroes (but never tell them the odds). Worth a look. Read Full Review

While the bigger picture aspects of this arc are intriguing with the blockade, hijacking a Star Destroyer, and the use of the SCAR Squad with Kreel's connection to Luke, the narrative overall has had some really bumpy patches along the way that has kept me from feeling fully invested in it. It's like we could have ditched practically all of the previous issue and not missed anything – and might have been better off for it. There are some very fun moments to be had here but a couple of drags on it as well. We've been in this arc for several issues now and it doesn't feel as tight as previous ones, particularly Rebel Jail, and it has me looking forward to it being over more than seeing where it's going to go. This is a very enjoyable issue. All the classic heroes are involved and they all work toward one common goal. The showdown between Luke and Kreel should be an interesting one.

Great issue, I'm loving SCAR squadron and the threat they pose to our heroes. I like how the story of the gamemaster training Luke on Nar Shaddaa comes into play here. Also, an amazing last page reveal that is sure to get readers excited for the next issue!
