Oct 14, 2016This is the first issue, so I say try it out for yourself. I am going to read the next issue, so its not like Ive been dissuaded from the series, dont take this as me thinking this is not a comic you should take some time to read. Im always an optimist, so I believe Solo can definitely become a fun comic with a lesser-known character that doesnt make me feel like I dont belong to the group that should be reading it. Because I do want to read a comic like this. I really do. Read Full Review

Oct 17, 2016At the end of the day though, Solo just isn't for me and I understand that my expectations wanted and were expecting something else. To me, Solo doesn't feel original. There's plenty of awesome characters who deserve their own comic, and at the moment we don't have the answer to this question: Why Solo? Read Full Review

Oct 12, 2016Solo #1 sets up what could be a very fun series, but its identity is still in question. The character is relatable and feels unique. His less than perfect nature sets him apart from other heroes of his caliber, which makes the book feel valuable, though not yet necessary. Read Full Review

Oct 17, 2016That said, if you're all about Solo or just love that Deadpool mercenary quippy action, this may be the book for you, and there's enough potential here that I'm not disappointed in the book. I'm just not immediately impressed, which means that Solo #1 ends up feeling a bit listless throughout. Read Full Review
