(Cover Date: April, 1969) Summary: At FF HQ, Reed, Ben & Johnny rush to Reed's lab to find his prototype Space-Scrambler has been taken. SS uses the Space-Scrambler on Galactus' barrier, but it doesn't work & explodes. SS wakes up to find himself in the home of Al Harper, who saw him fall from the sky. Harper, a physicist, says he needs money to build equipment to help SS. SS enters a bank to steal money, but he soon changes his mind. SS meets a man in an alley who was roughed up by thugs from a gambling parlor when he realized the game was rigged. SS wins money at the parlor & gives some to the man.
