  (Cover Date: February, 1969) Summary #1: In his ethereal form, Loki seeks a pawn to kill Thor for him. He finds SS & uses a temporeal spell to learn SS's background. The Warriors Three warn Thor that Loki plans to kill him after Loki had told them such. Loki goads SS to fight against him when he threatens mankind. When SS passes his test, Loki tells him that Thor is planning to overthrow Odin & that he will free him from Earth if he stops him. After arriving in Asgard, SS confronts Thor at a banquet, but Thor invites him to dine with him, after calming down the Warriors Three. Following a tournament, the champion throws the sword that he won at SS at Loki's urging. Loki then influences SS to attack the Asgardians. Loki tells his minion that he has enhanced SS's power with his magic. Odin is informed of the battle, but Odin declines to intervene due to the pure hearts of the combatants. SS's enhanced cosmic power keeps Thor from using his hammer against him. Under Loki's influence, Balder tries to slay SS. When Thor breaks through the cosmic shield holding his hammer, SS realizes that Thor has been holding back his strength & that he was duped by Loki. With the fighting stopped, Loki sends SS back to Earth. Summary #2: The Watcher recounts the legacy of the tyrant conqueror, Tim Boo Ba, who in the end was drowned by a mom who spilled water on her son's model solar system. more
