Orlandos showing a real mastery when it comes to handling Wanda. Shes self-confident in her abilities, as well as those around here. While there are some things, like the truncated fight scenes, and the lack of exploration of Wandas feelings towards Magnetos death that are the standouts, the character work here is second to none. With each passing issue Steve Orlando and Sara Pichelli are getting better and better at telling one-shot style stories that build up Wanda Maximoff and the new life she has built for herself. Scarlet Witch #3 is the best issue so far with the Polaris team-up providing us with a fun journey through Sub-Atomica. Along the way we get great moments between Wanda and Lorna Dane that taps into their relationship as sisters. Scarlet Witch continues to be an absolute delight and that has me wary about when the bottom might fall out from under it. Steve Orland is one of those folks that I trust to write a book like this but the crossover nature of Marvel is what keeps me away from so many of their mainstream books overall, as well as the way some come to such a quick and problematic end. I'm thoroughly enjoying this more languid approach to the character and their story and the small moments aspects that allow us to really connect with the characters. It's charming, engaging, and gives you the opportunity to enjoy it all the more. This issue also goes for a really good approach to presenting the Sub Atomica storyline so that it's not quips and action but rather something that has a fairy tale approach with great artwork and color design. The next piece with Darcy is going to be where we truly see what Orlando is playing with. Read Full Review

Worth it if you are a fan of the Scarlett Witch and want to see her off doing her own thing. This series does seem to have strong emphasis on women characters in general. Maybe not as much as She Hulk but still fairly good. Read Full Review

Loved Lorna & Wanda collaborating with their powers in such complimentary fashion. Them working together as an almost singular, fused unit, just seems so natural. The shrinking charm & linguistic enchantment to 'The Last Door' - COOL! And the *technology is evil* theme being carried on here, from the X-books, is a nice, connective thread I wasn't eXpectin' to see. MARVELed@ the total change in style as they began their quest, witch lent it a unique, fable-esque quality that works really well & I liked A LOT! "TWO SISTERS WITH A BOND MORE POWERFUL THAN BLOOD..." "HEY, WANDA? YOU'RE ENOUGH. TRUST ME... I'M A DOCTOR." The splash pg. where they create 'The Sword in the Star' & the epilogue one w/their beautiful, bonding moment(s) were worth the price of admission alone. And that CLIFFHANGER - WOW!!! Can't wait for the neXt ish. I... LOVED THIS!! I'll be following Steve O. & Sara P. on the Twitter IMMEDIATELY, while tweeting about how much I enjoyed it at the same time, something I've barely done since their appearance at last year's Hellfire Gala together. This was just wonderful, and if I had to sum it up in 1 word... POETIC! more

When this book was announced I didn't know what to expect. Between the ups and downs (more downs than ups) of Wanda Maximoff in the past 20 years and the writer being a wild card I was not sure about anything but has now become one of my favorite books at marvel right now. - Hey Wanda? You're enough.

I'm just endlessly astonished by how good this book is! This issue is really an artists' book, with the main adventure taking place in a series of splash pages, but Pichelli & Wilson rise to the challenge like they were born for it

Much better as we get going with a nice one off story that could have been 3 issues but I'll take the brevity over a dragged out story any day. Pichelli is a phenomenal artist and when she's clicking she is awesome and she shows it here. The colors by Wilson too were just beautiful. I'm still catching up so the last page keeps me intrigued.

This title is scratching an EPISODIC itch I desperately needed scratched. I love how each issue tells its own story with an overarching one. I love how we get to see these amazing female characters interact with Wanda and even have stories with characters that have a relationship with Wanda. It feels big, it feels grand, it feels emotional, and a lot of fun. Great book so far, and it has the potential to be even better. Hope they continue.

Like the previous issues, this one is built around a very simple story. But the creators tackle it with their wildest pitch yet, adding depth and intrigue to an off-the-shelf fantasy quest with an exotic structure. The art delivers consistently delicious splash panels, and the second-person narration is infused with insight and earnestness. What could be a hopelessly basic story instead becomes engaging and compelling. It's not quite a grand slam, but it's an eminently respectable triple.

Scarlet Witch #3 was a very interesting issue, to say the least. The story was a nice change in pace but the narration change to the second person lost my attention and made the issue somewhat harder to follow. The new environment in the “nano” world was interesting and the art in this issue did not disappoint. Sara Pinchellli continues to kill it with each panel we see. I just wish we were given more dialogue between the characters and didn’t slow down so quickly.
