Scarlet Witch #10 ends this series on a high note. There was a great mix of action and emotion throughout this finale. Steve Orlando and Sara Pichelli proved that Wanda Maximoff can carry a solo series that has all the elements of a great superhero comic book. This ending leaves the door open for more adventures led by Scarlet Witch and hopefully we see more of after the mini-series with Quicksilver. Read Full Review

I'm just going to give this review because it's Wanda. I expected a lot from this comic, but unfortunately Steve doesn't know how to deal with it, I love Wanda being mentally well, in compensation for the rest-- Very weak story.

This magic fight is a beautifully-drawn and fairly satisfying conclusion to the volume. (Between this and Dr. Strange #9, it's a good week for magic fights, huh?) For several nitpicky reasons, I can't call this comic great. First, though the prose plays well on a casual read, it dissolves into clichés and clumsiness if you scrutinize it. Second, Hexfinder's backstory is rushed and unsatisfying. And finally, Joseph is possibly more intrusive here than in the last two issues. #10 is really more about his sacrifice than any of Wanda's choices or actions. It's disappointing to see her robbed of agency here at the finish line.

Steve Orlando is a writer that I am not a fan of, and while I do think this series was one of his better ones, the final ending was not satisfying to me thanks to lackluster art, lack of engaging action. While it's a shame that this series was cancelled, at least it ended on a good note, rather than take too long and it not being interesting. Overall, if you are a fan of Wanda Maximoff, I can say this is her definitive series. This series took heavy inspiration from Jason Aaron's Thor run.

I didn't really like the fight, Stephen promised a big fight and didn't deliver, we didn't know much about the villain's past, can't Wanda resurrect the dead? Does Wanda still have a weakness to metal? I loved Darcy in this edition
