What can I say if you are a fan of these two characters then you should read this mini-series. It's so well written and shows just how much Thompson loves these characters. Rogue & Gambit #5 delivered a fun ending to Kelly Thompson's mini-series featuring one of the X-Men's premiere couples. Thompson delivered all the fun moments that fans expect from seeing Rogue and Gambit together. By the end you'll feel Rogue and Gambit grew stronger as a couple and individuals. Pere Perez elevated Thompson's story by delivering a lot of great artwork, especially for the big nostalgic moments. If you are an X-Men fan I highly recommend picking up Rogue & Gambit comes out on hardcover or trade paperback. Read Full Review

They learned more about themselves, more about each other, and taught other mutants to appreciate their powers. That it is part of who they are. Rogue and Gambit saved the day in many ways. And their relationship. It's been a case of "met the right person at the wrong time," but their timing will never be perfect, their lives will never be perfect, it is better to just live in the moment with the person you've always been in love with. This is an adorable way to end the series, but I think it is also awesome that we don't actually know what happened to Lavish, she could make a good villain later on with the rest of the mutant. Kelly Thompson carried this series very well and kept you coming back for more. The art and color was beautiful and never sloppy. Sad to see it end! Read Full Review

Rogue and Gambit close down their story with a thoroughly satisfying victory. It clarifies and evolves the two heroes' relationship and also leaves Lavish on the table as a tremendously promising future antagonist. Perfect pace, wonderful character work, and gorgeous art come together to make this an essentially flawless execution of a strong, simple premise.

This was a wonderful conclusion to a great miniseries with two of my favorite X-Men characters. I love the way their dynamic and history was handled and explored here. Kelly Thompson totally nailed it. It was so much fun and a total blast to read. Brought back so many memories for me from my childhood reading the comics and watching the 90's cartoon. The art by Pere Perez was simply incredible and I love how it was used during flashbacks...it was perfect. I'll definitely be picking up the trade paperback for sure
