Great at what it does and it doesnt make any pretense about trying to do anything else. You could make a deep, emotionally affecting comic about The Punisher, but this isnt it. This is terse, effective writing and scripting with incredible art. Unfortunately, its slightly undermined by some problematic views on the efficacy of torture. Read Full Review

I don’t give many books a 10, but this issue just hit all the right notes for me. I can understand why Kudranski’s art is divisive, but I absolutely love it, and it’s ably supported by the inks and colours. I didn’t want this issue to end and I’m now counting down the days until I can get my hands on issue #3. Really hope Rosenberg/Kudranski get a lengthy run.

Rosenberg writes one of my favorite renditions of Frank. This a good Punisher story that hits all the right notes. The Art has been really cool as well. Its very different from a lot thats out and looks really good with action scenes.

Cool friggin’ book. Best action in a comic I’ve read all year and the cameos were awesome. Just a bad ass book and its only on issue 2.

Fun read, but Luke Cage isn't the Juggernaught. That scene of the car crashing into him is a big stretch for his power set. This is good but that odd

from a base of 6, this gets a rating of: 8. -1 because: the art was distractingly bad. +1 because: I like the Punisher more and more as I see him operate. +2 because: I really like the revenge angle for Frank.

Really enjoyed the action in this one. Even the art and story were better. Characters were brougt into the story in clever ways and I'm excited to see where this goes.
