Aug 28, 2026Predator vs. the Planet of the Apes #2 is an enjoyable issue that takes all of the setup work done in the first issue and hits the ground running. The interactions between the human Arch, the apes, and the Predator do not go in the direction I was expecting, and as the action moves into the Forbidden Zone, there's no telling where the story goes from here. That being said, we suspect that the Predator's true prey is still out there somewhere, and there will certainly be blood when they finally meet face-to-face. Read Full Review

Plot
Arch and General Ursus escape being massacred by the Yautja by throwing their weapons, while the other soldiers are not spared.
Zira and Cornelius find the wounded Yautja and decide to heal him, trusting in their warrior code.
Ursus and Arch search for the wounded Predator and reach the Forbidden Zone, where Arch sees the destroyed Statue of Liberty and realizes he is in an alternate future. Ursus and Arch are attacked by a rival coalition of apes and are assisted by the wounded Predator who arrives with Zira and Cornelius.
An excellent crossover between these two universes, which impacted pop culture in different ways and now coexist in this story that starts off very well.
