Jul 23, 2025Once again, Stephanie Phillips writes another excellent issue of Phoenix, one that bares Jean's soul and shows us her more vulnerable side. With every issue that comes out, I get more excited for the next one as Phillips seems to elevate in talent and quality with every comic. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - B. Radtz
Jul 23, 2025Phillips has really shown Jeans heart, which isnt something every writer likes to delve into. Its usually story after story of power scaling, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, while failing the woman this story is all about. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Jul 25, 2025Phillips is playing around the edges of the cosmic end of the Marvel Universe. There might not be the kind of intenstiy one might expect from an entity as powerful as the one that was introduced back in 1980 by Claremont and Byrne, but its all very impressive on quite a few different levels. Its been an interesting journey thus far. Phillips and company should be able to find the right momentum to launch Jean in a new direction at the end of the current conflict. Itll be interesting to see what she comes-up with for future issues. Read Full Review

Jul 23, 2025Phoenix #13 picks up the pace from previous issues, driving the story forward and revealing significant character developments. However, it remains choppy, with character voices feeling lifeless, and their actions needlessly dramatic. While the artist demonstrates solid fundamental skills and works diligently, the art lacks the polish and experience necessary to truly elevate the book. Read Full Review
